Leatherman, a local multi-tool powerhouse known around the world for it's innovative products, chose to illustrate its Serac S series flashlights in cross-section to highlight the underlying materials and technology. An initial attempt to photograph the flashlight in half ended abruptly after the treatment doled out by their band-saw. Taking the two, mangled halves as reference, clean cross-sections were produced, minus the destruction.
